Потребление — население, технологии, ресурсы

Главное влияние человека на Землю исходит от разрушения биофизических ресурсов и, особенно, экосистем Земли. Совокупное влияние человечества зависит от * , которое в свою очередь зависит от используемых ресурсов, их типа (например, возобновляемые или невозобновляемые ресурсы), и масштаба человеческой активности в соотношении со способностью экосистем выдерживать внешнее влияние.
Одна из первых попыток выразить влияние человечества математически было предпринято в 1970 годах и названо формула I PAT (англ.)русск.. Она выражает потребление ресурсов учитывая население, уровень потребления и влияние на 1 единицу использованного ресурса

Формула выглядит так: I = P × A × T

Где: I = влияние на окружающую среду, P = население, A = уровень потребления, T = Технология (так как потребление зависит от используемой технологии)

Металл

В искусстве барокко появляется золочение, на кованых железных архитектурных балконных решетках и воротах. Поверхность художественных изделий из черных металлов всегда декоративно обрабатывалась, ей придавалась различные оттенки химико-термическими способами. Такая декоративная обработка одновременно и защищала поверхность от коррозии.

Сравнительно низкая коррозионная стойкость изделий из черных металлов и сложность декоративной отделки приводят к полной или частичной утрате авторского вида

Поэтому так важно реставратору знать старинные методы отделки предметов, уметь их восстановить и предотвратить дальнейшее разрушение, не исказив авторского вида экспоната

13 августа 1914 года родился Борис Васильевич Гнедовский

Гнедовский Борис Васильевич (1914-1998) — архитектор-реставратор. Один из виднейших реставраторов древнерусского деревянного зодчества. Работал в мастерской Л. В. Руднева (Центровоенпроект, 1947), вел обследование и учет памятников народного зодчества Карелии (1947-1952), возглавлял Ярославскую научно-реставрационную мастерскую (1953-1960), был главным архитектором Центральных научно-реставрационных мастерских Минкультуры СССР (1961-1973). Автор и руководитель многих проектов реставрации и создания крупнейших музеев под открытым небом: Архангельского музея деревянного зодчества «Малые Карелы», Пермского архитектурно-этнографического музея деревянного зодчества «Хохловка».

Цели устойчивого развития, связанные с социально-экономическим развитием и охраной окружающей среды, были определены в ходе Всемирного саммита по вопросам социального развития 2005 года. Цели не являются взаимоисключающими, они обладают способностью усиливать друг друга благодаря взаимозависимости. Из-за этого аспекта ни одна из целей не может существовать отдельно без других. Некоторые социологи решили добавить еще один пункт в область устойчивости — будущие поколения. 

Устойчивое развитие состоит из равновесия между внутренним и глобальным использованием земных ресурсов. Это способ заботиться о человеческих потребностях, но в равной степени гарантировать, что природа не подвергается истощению и разрушению. Это мера для сохранения окружающей среды для будущих поколений.

Поэтому устойчивость можно обобщить как ответственное принятие решений, а также инновации, направленные на снижение вредного разрушительного воздействия. Чтобы не пренебрегать другими важными аспектами, необходимо найти баланс между несколькими вещами, такими как экономические достижения, управление и политика, ценности/культура людей, и экологическая устойчивость. Баланс между этими аспектами поможет гарантировать, что планета одинакова важна для всех видов, которые живут на ней сейчас и появятся в будущем.

Упругость

В экологическом плане устойчивость определяется как способность конкретной экосистемы поглощать или воспринимать нарушение, но при этом оставаться жизнеспособной и выполнять свои базовые функции. Размышления об устойчивости возникли из-за необходимости рассматривать и управлять взаимодействиями между людьми, и природной средой или экосистемами таким образом, чтобы это было устойчивым.

Впрочем, у жизнеспособности в настоящее время нет общепринятого определения. Тем не менее можно понять, что это такое. Такое мышление помогает определить и оценить, насколько серьезный удар может нанести окружающая среда людям, и при этом быть способной удовлетворить потребности нынешнего поколения и в то же время сохранить способность обеспечить будущие.

Устойчивое мышление также помогает обеспечить полную поддержку глобальной политики в управлении и содействии продвижению важнейших планетарных ресурсов. Надлежащее управление этими ресурсами и их продвижение помогают повысить устойчивость конкретной экосистемы. 

Более практичный подход к устойчивости — это закрытые системы. Эти системы поддерживают процесс беспрерывной продуктивности, обеспечивая замену ресурсов, используемых людьми, на другие ресурсы, имеющие еще большую ценность или выгоду. Использование и замена этих ресурсов осуществляется таким образом, чтобы не происходило ухудшения состояния окружающей среды. В проектах устойчивость может быть измерена тогда и только тогда, когда существует четкая отчетность об использованных ресурсах и ресурсах, возвращаемых для замены израсходованных. 

При анализе других систем, таких как городские районы и национальные парки, простым способом оценки устойчивости является способность реагировать на изменения в окружающей среде.

Устойчивость окружающей среды и бедность

Важнейший стимул достижения устойчивости окружающей среды это борьба с бедностью. Общепризнано, что бедность — это следствие деградации окружающей среды. Такой результат был озвучен в докладе Brundtland и отчетом Millennium Development Goals.

Согласно докладу Brundtland «бедность — один из эффектов глобальных экологических проблем. В связи с этим, нужно бороться с экологическими проблемами, иметь понимание причин бедности и международного неравенства.»

Люди, живущие в бедности, больше полагаются на местные экосистемы, как на источник базовых ресурсов (питание и медицина) и общего благополучия.

С ростом мирового населения, увеличивается давление на местные экосистемы. Согласно Фонду ОНН в области народонаселения, высокая фертильность и бедность имеют прямую зависимость, и беднейшие страны мира также отличаются высокой фертильностью и соответственно темпами роста населения.
